About us
CoreNaturalMedicine is a South African company specializing in the research, development and distribution of traditional African medicinal herbs. Born out of a desire to treat himself and his family with natural medicine, instead of with chemical (and often harmful) pharmaceutical remedies, Core’s founder Jules Silbernagl decided to look close to home.
As a keen reader about ancient civilizations and their knowledge Jules contacted the indigenous people (San people) of his home country and researched their traditional use of medicinal plants. With this knowledge and a team of scientist, he formulated the 100% pure and high quality range of products you will find in most health shops today. Believing that obesity, depression and the common cold where illnesses/conditions that often leads people to taking harmful chemical remedies, his first 3 products, Hoodia, Sceletium and our Natural Cough and Cold syrup were born.
